Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Bove family, Joe was a Board member of the Delaware Valley Sunoco Alumni group for many years. His leadership and passion for our Sunoco retiree group was second to none. As the longest tenured Board member, he truly was our historian. We will miss him so much at our quarterly luncheons. On behalf of the DVSA Board, we are making a significant donation to the WC Salvation Army in his memory.

I was very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We worked together at Sunoco in the years immediately before his retirement. He was always a gentleman, kind, and insightful. Joe was truly one of the good guys. May God bless the entire Bove family as you celebrate his life and mourn his loss.

Dear Bove family, my deepest sympathy for your loss. Joe was a good friend of my brother, Fred Bachman, while growing up in Upper Darby in the mid-1950s. We lived on the neighboring streets of Hampden (Bove) and Glendale {Bachman). I remember Joe well, he was tall and handsome and very polite. My parents really liked him. I also remember Joe's Mom, a very lovely lady. Fred died in June 2016. I wish they had stayed in touch. You will all be in my prayers. Michael Bachman
