Albert J. Muntz, age 84, of Havertown, PA, passed away on January 9, 2018 surrounded by his four children. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Margaret Muntz (nee Hemphill).

Albert was a graduate of Overbrook High School. He was employed at PECO in the Steam Heat Division for over 40 years. After retirement, he worked at Paxon Hollow Country Club for 25 years. He retired in 2017.

He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. He followed all of his children and grandchildren's sporting events, enjoyed stamp collecting, golfing, buffets and traveling with Elsie and their friends. His greatest love was baseball. He was a catcher and played ball well into his 40's.

Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elsie Muntz (nee Kerasec) in April, 2017. He is survived by his loving children James Muntz, Diane Flynn (John), John Muntz (Amy) and Albert Muntz (Marianne), his brother Robert Muntz (Elaine), his grandchildren Brenna, Patrick, Kelly, Lauren, Evan, Alexa, Jamie, Lucas, Shane, Ryan and Tyler and his great-grandchildren, Austin, Owen and Sean.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday, January 14, 2018 2:00-4:00 PM and Monday, January 15, 2018 10:00-11:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
